Westbank First Nations training site in B.C.
Heavy equipment has arrived for Velocity’s students on the Westbank First Nations site. An introduction to each machine, the importance of wearing PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) and workplace safety were among the topics discussed by our qualified trainers.
Jocelyn is pictured here on the D3 dozer. Jocelyn is one of three women students participating in heavy equipment training on the Westbank First Nations site in the Okanagan valley. Jocelyn will have the opportunity to train on several machines, including the large excavator, backhoe, loader, mini excavator, D3 and D5 dozers and articulated rock truck.
